Volunteers meet at the corner of Plaza Street and Vanderbilt Avenue, and move from there to the day's work site. Please arrive promptly by 10:00. Volunteers work until noon.

The work area is densely wooded. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Long sleeves are recommended to protect against thorns and bugs. Gloves and tools are provided.

Adults and supervised children are welcome. Experience is not required. Gloves and tools are provided.

After a long winter, it is time to clean up! Volunteers will pick up trash & debris on the median and sidewalks between Plaza Street and Washington Ave. If there is time (and energy) they will also include Underhill Avenue to St. Johns Avenue.

If you miss the start, join them on the median. Garbage bags and basic gloves will be provided.

The Friends of the Berms will hold its final outing of the year on Saturday Nov. 18, 10:00-Noon, for cleaning and greening of the Berms surrounding Grand Army Plaza. To celebrate another successful year, they will close the day with PIZZA, courtesy of the Prospect Park Volunteer Office!
