Carlton Avenue residents plant trees to counter construction blight

Posted: April 21, 2011 - 8:59am

With help from the Citizens Committee for New York City and PHNDC, residents of Carlton Avenue between Dean and Pacific Streets planted arborvitae trees along the eastern sidewalk of their block. The trees are a green addition that will help block the view of a parking lot being used by the Atlantic Yards project on the corner of Carlton Avenue and Pacific Street.
