Central Brooklyn Arts and Culture Weekend kicks off on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., with a “Movie Night Under the Stars” event, hosted by Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams, in partnership with State Senator Jesse Hamilton, Council Member Laurie Cumbo, District Leader Shirley Patterson and District Leader Geoffrey Davis. Local residents and visitors will experience fun activities for children and adults of all ages, culminating with the family-friendly movie "Sing" to be viewed under the stars on the grounds of the historic Brooklyn Museum. Participants are only asked to bring a chair or blanket and an appetite for the popcorn that will be provided.
